Jennifer is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, has a Master’s in Human Nutrition, 25 years of experience as a Dietitian, and is a mother of two teenagers. 

Jennifer is a Dietitian turned Functional Medicine Health Coach. She realizes that the last thing a woman needs is another unrealistic diet plan. She believes that to make the shift from “knowing what to do” to the actual “doing”, one must start with their mindset by acknowledging what is driving the unwanted behavior, becoming intentional with their actions, and learning to practice self-compassion. Specifically, she helps spiraling moms overcome their overwhelm through focused, functional wellness coaching for body, mind, and soul so they can live a deeply fulfilled life of freedom and harmony.

Jennifer has 25 years of experience, training as a Dietitian, a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition, and a certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach.   She has spent her entire career in the health care and wellness space.  However, she will be the first to tell you that she has learned more from her own personal health struggles than her years of experience. Those struggles she kept hidden while wearing a mask that everything was fine. From the death of her mom and concern of her family medical history to gut health issues, depression, inability to lose weight, and lack of energy; she learned the value of becoming more mindful and then being intentional with simple and realistic lifestyle changes. And she started to understand that none of that could happen without self-compassion.  Jennifer understands the loss of health and the loss of self while caring for others. She also knows, all too well, the frustrating feeling of “what am I missing” while attempting to take control of your health.  That frustration led Jennifer to Functional Medicine, aka lifestyle medicine, and looking at the body, mind, soul as a system that works together.

Jennifer and her husband James live in Melissa, Texas with their 2 teens, 2 puppies, and 2 cats.  They love being a part of their faith family at City Church Melissa, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life with good friends.

Jennifer has been described as compassionate, relatable, encouraging, a cheerleader, and a friend.

Her strength lies in teaching women the complete picture of nourishment.  Not just for the body, but for the mind and soul as well.  She firmly believes that women need to be empowered to nourish themselves so they can nourish those who depend on them. This compassionate coach is the missing piece an overwhelmed woman needs to start living a life of freedom and healthy harmony.
