Hannah is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach; she has a Master’s in Exercise and Nutrition Science, professional experience as a coach, educator and researcher, and is a mother of two young girls. 


Hannah is passionate about helping people optimize their health so that they can love God and others at their highest capacity. She has worked on the Amy Beard MD team since 2017 and in the field of fitness and wellness as a coach, teacher, researcher and educator since 2011.

Hannah obtained her Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine at Pepperdine University and served as the Spiritual Life Team Captain of the Division 1 Cross-Country and Track teams. While in college, she interned at CrossFit Malibu, became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) and co-authored an article in the CrossFit Journal, CrossFit Training During Pregnancy and Motherhood: A New Scientific Frontier

Hannah completed her Master’s in Exercise & Nutrition Science at Lipscomb University in Nashville. She then worked at Ensworth High School as a fitness instructor, cross-country and track coach, followed by Pepperdine University as the Health & Wellness Education Coordinator.

After her own transformative experience with Functional Medicine, Hannah decided to pursue a career in Functional Medicine and joined the Amy Beard, MD team. Hannah is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. 

Hannah and her husband Ford currently reside in Texas, where Ford is working on a doctorate in orthopedics and serving in the US Navy. They love their girls Ember and Selah Rei, outdoor adventures, and co-laboring with Christ to bring health and hope to the communities He calls them to serve.
